Quantily stands for quality quantification. While crunching numbers is a necessary part of what we do, Quantily does more— it reorients leaders around what matters and why. We are experts in developing mixed-methods approaches to measure hard-to-measure outputs. And the results our clients enjoy are improved organizational learning today and decision-making for tomorrow.
We know that data have the capacity to drag people down in the weeds—Quantily does the opposite.
We provide clients with new perspectives on the nuanced issues they struggle with day-to-day. This helps to better define a clear path forward, to drive decision-making for good. Through partnership, we enhance our client’s data literacy—that is, the ability to collect data for knowledge, summarize trends coherently, and think critically about how to apply the lessons learned.
As seasoned evaluators and grants management specialists, we also support organizations through the entire grant lifecycle—from program design and strategic planning to compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement. We help clients not only secure competitive funding, but also build internal systems that sustain impact long after the grant period ends.
In addition to the immediate team, when needed, Quantily utilizes a small network of highly qualified policy analysts, educators, economists, data scientists, software engineers, and graphic designers to complete its projects effectively and efficiently. Partners are selected based on the specific needs of each unique project in order to deliver the most value to meet the client’s objectives.
Christina Steiner founded Quantily in response to demand for applied research, analysis, and evaluation in small and medium-sized organizations. Organizational leaders want to work with Christina because she brings cross-sector experience, technical expertise, and leadership skills in tackling new questions.
Prior to Quantily, Christina worked at the RAND Corporation, a public-policy think-tank known for rigorous research on cutting-edge topics. At RAND, she worked for a range of clients from the United States Army Recruiting Command to the California Earthquake Authority and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Christina’s doctoral studies focused on measuring the determinants of turnover in the Army Civilian workforce (200,000+ people) using a 30-year dataset. Christina has a PhD in public policy analysis from the Pardee RAND Graduate School, an MBA in strategic marketing from UT Austin, and a BA in economics and Spanish from Wellesley College.
Christina was also a Teach for America corps member (RGV ’04). TFA was a formative experience that forever piqued her interest in discovering what works in increasing educational equity and improving child welfare. Prior to completing her doctoral studies, Christina was Grants Director for IDEA Public Schools where she founded a Grants Management program called Grant’Ed. Through this program, she led a team of grant managers to implement tens of millions of grant-funded programs annually. Additionally, for the past five years Christina has served as a reviewer of charter school applications for the Texas Education Agency.
Christina lives on 16 acres with her husband, three large mixed-breed dogs (think: 200+ lbs, collectively), two amazing quarter horses, and one very shy barn cat. She enjoys long pack walks and planting “deer-resistant” flowers around the farm.
